　　斯坦福大学(Stanford University)―永远追逐在知识最前沿的研究型大学。

　　如果你认为斯坦福大学和常青藤联盟的区别只是每年那几百个额外的晴天那么你就大错特错了。事实上，所有东部地区的大学在创立之初旨在思考人类存在的价值以及生命的意义，并以欧洲教育机构为模型。与其相反，斯坦福一开始便致力于建立科学技术与工程方面的声誉，极具美国独创色彩。学校积极开明的治学理念以及西部海岸独具的乐观主义驱散了那些笼罩在东部海岸大学上的学术阴霾，高水准的教学水平和历史久远的体育传统等令其具有莫名的吸引力。

　　斯坦福算是美国人自己建立的第一所真正的“美国大学”

　　跟耶鲁和普林斯顿不一样，于1885年由Leland 和Jane Stanford建立的斯坦福从一开始便同时招收男女学生。在百年庆典上，它是美国第一所成功筹集到数十亿美元捐款的学校；现如今斯坦福的捐款已经高达120亿美元了。斯坦福拥有全国顶尖的教授，大部分学院都拥有一两名响当当的教授。他们的学术成就很高，获得许多证书。95%的课程会由教职人员进行授课而非研究生助教。

　　住宿

　　与传统的住宿不同，斯坦福大学学生住宿区域包括了学术主题与单一特色主题公寓楼、种族主题公寓楼、自我管理与互相合作居住区、课题楼、公寓与套间等等。目前，斯坦福大学本科生住所可作如下分类：10座一年级学生楼、18座综合楼、48座高年级学生楼、10座希腊楼、1座二年级学生楼、2座一二年级学生楼、8座学术和语言主题楼、7座课题楼、4座民族文化主题楼、7座合作模式楼、35座配备公寓指导老师（Resident Fellow）的住宿楼以及36座联排式住宿楼。所有的公寓楼都配有学生骨干和管理助理提供支持，以促进住宿教育目标的达成。概言之，住宿教育在每一处居住区域都发挥以下五项基本作用：智力参与和拓展、为学术进步和成功提供支持、促进多元化社区建设、领导力培养、促进个人及社会发展。

　　餐饮

　　在解决学生的就餐问题上，斯坦福和美国很多大学一样，就是学校建好餐厅，交由社会知名且合格的餐饮企业竞争经营。斯坦福大学就有很多家美国品牌餐饮企业在那里经营。而且校园内基本每一块小区域都有餐馆分布，十分方便。大学引进社会力量解决餐饮问题，将品种、价格、卫生、食品安全等问题都交给社会来处理。学校少了负担，学生多了很多选择。吃那家，吃那种，吃多少，都由学生自己决定。店家为了扩大经营，也会极力为学生提供良好的服务。

　　校园活动

　　斯坦福大学有康托美术中心，内含24个美术馆，雕像花园和庭院。该博物馆最早于1891年由利兰・斯坦福夫妇纪念他们的独子而建。康托美术中心最负盛名的是其拥有法国巴黎以外最大的罗丹作品收藏。校园里还有一些大型的户外艺术品，主要是雕塑，也有一些壁画。罗伯宿舍附近的巴布亚新几内雕塑花园中有一些手工木雕和“图腾柱”。斯坦福拥有一个欣欣向荣的艺术音乐社团。课外活动包括了羊头剧团社和斯坦福莎士比亚社团，得奖的无伴奏合唱团体包括托钵僧，逆反点，队街歌手，和谐，混合伙伴，证书，魔符，凡人，和一个专门演绎吉尔伯特与萨利文作品的沙加缅度团体。此外，音乐系赞助了许多乐团，包括五个合唱团，斯坦福管弦交响乐团, 斯坦福太鼓社和斯坦福管乐团。斯坦福的舞蹈社团是全国最有活力的社团之一，戏剧系有一个舞蹈分部，还有超过30个不同的学生团体和舞蹈相关，包括斯坦福鼓号乐队多利舞蹈团。也许最有特色的是斯坦福的社交舞和葡萄酒舞，受到舞蹈历史学家理查德・鲍威尔斯影响，以及数以百计的学生和校友支持。斯坦福每年举行三次非正式的舞会，以及每季度一次大型舞会，包括秋天的雷格泰姆舞会，冬天的斯坦福维也纳舞会和春天的大舞会。斯坦福也有一个著名的学生管理的摇摆舞团和几个校友表演团。创意写作课程通过斯泰格纳奖学金和其它研究生奖学金把年轻的作家聚集在学校里。《这个男孩的生活》的作者托比阿斯・沃尔夫负责本科生和研究生的写作指导。骑士新闻奖学金得主会被邀请驻校一年，选修感兴趣的课程和参与研讨会。也有一个学生课外活动写作及表演团体，斯坦福口语集团，同时也是斯坦福的诗词朗诵队。斯坦福也为专业人士进行各种出版课程。斯坦福专业出版课程从上世纪70年代末就开始进行，吸引了很多出版业专人讨论杂志和图书出版业变化的商业模式。

　　斯坦福大学位于加利福尼亚州的斯坦福市，临近旧金山。旧金山市区面积116平方公里，全市人口约为80万人。

　　文化生活

　　该校属于太平洋十二校联盟。旧金山的宽宏大度是一种浑然天成的气质，是在饮食、建筑、音乐等所有城市生活层面上不经意的自然流露。在这里，除了美味新鲜富于创意的加州菜之外，你也可以吃到全美最棒的法国大餐、意大利菜、日本料理和中国美食；在这里，遍布全市的维多利亚式房屋固然赏心悦目，希腊罗马式的“艺术宫”、雕龙镂凤的唐人街城门、地道东洋味的日本城五重塔、北滩上漆着意大利彩画的餐馆一样让你目不暇接；在这里，各种你所期望的大城市中的艺术表演应有尽有，世界级的芭蕾舞、高雅的古典音乐、百老汇的音乐剧、缠绵悱恻的爵士乐，无分高下，共同浑然溶入旧金山的城市节拍之中。这一切都应验了美国作家威廉・萨洛扬所说的，“如果你还活着，旧金山不会使你厌倦；如果你已经死了，旧金山会让你起死回生。”

　　自然景观

　　旧金山看上去像是欧洲的翻版，因为这里有太多的咖啡屋。旧金山人对咖啡的钟爱近乎于疯狂，他们倾向于用咖啡匙来度量生活。旧金山市区与周围城镇均以桥梁相连，色彩缤纷的低层小楼盘山而建，市内有大小岗峦42座，不少街道相当陡斜。最具特色的景点是“九道湾”弯道最陡处达20-45度，汽车开足马力也不一定能爬得上坡去。这些地段的公共汽车只能使一种特制的电缆车。

　　气候

　　旧金山气候冬暖夏凉，阳光充足，被誉为“最受美国人欢迎的城市”。因长期受海风影响，旧金山夏天的日高温通常只有20摄氏度左右；雨季为一月到四月间；冬天虽冷，但鲜有降雪。最高温度为9月的平均22°，最低温度为1月的8°。

　　交通

　　旧金山国际机场位于圣布鲁诺，距离市中心14英里。奥克兰和圣何塞也有国际机场。旧金山机场分为三个相连的区域：南区、国际区和北区。上层离港，下层入港。机场的抵港大厅设有商店、租车、饭店登记和旅游咨询处等全方位的服务。国际机场巴士从机场下层发车，开往市中心旅馆区，到站用蓝色标出。私营的往返公共汽车在上、下层都有发车点，终点不限。从机场到市中心的车程在非交通高峰时间为半小时左右。阿姆特拉克铁路连接着旧金山、洛杉矶、西雅图和芝加哥。米申街425号的越湾总站有火车售票处。旧金山火车站在第四大道和镇角街相邻处，也是加州铁路线到圣约瑟的终点站。“灰狗”长途客运运营旧金山到全美各地的公路路线。“绿龟”客运虽然速度较慢，但比较便宜而且路线也很多。长途客车从米申街的越湾总站发车。旧金山市南的1号公路是从洛杉矶到旧金山风景最美的公路线，走与之平行的101国道能更快一点。市北的101国道从尤里卡穿过金门大桥由南向北。80号州际公路穿过湾桥从萨克拉门托向西南方向延伸。有缆电车是旧金山最有特色的交通工具，是旅游热点之一。有三条路线其中从Powell街到渔人码头线是观光客常常乘用的。缆车行走缓慢，而且要等1-2小时才能上车。票价5美元。公共汽车发行一日，三日，七日票Passport。可在指定日内无限制使用，分别为6美元，10美元，15美元。也可以一次买10个汽车代币8美元，节省2美元。这些票在各缆车站和中国城的商店、书店都有出售。机场/接机信息: 学校距离旧金山机场大概一个小时的车程，从北京、上海、香港都有直飞旧金山的飞机。学生可以联系斯坦福大学的CSSA来接机。或者在King St&4th St的Caltrain站坐Caltrain 坐到Palo Alto站有免费的shuttle可以坐进斯坦福校园。

　　斯坦福大学拥有一套非常完备的安保系统。入夜之后，基本每个街区都安排一个警察，每几十米就有一个灯柱报警器。方便的校车可以让你避免走夜路。当然，有同学会选择住在校车不覆盖的地方。这样的话你可以打电话到学校的安保处，校方会派出警车护送你到家。该校所在位置属于郊区，该区域的毒品/枪支犯罪率(每千人)为0.2。

Q：留学斯坦福大学该如何准备？
A：如果你在南宁蒲庙上高中，那一定经常听到老师说一句话“要是不努力，只能上隔壁的邕江大学”，和北京户口在北京上学的一样，要是不好好上学，只能上隔壁的清华北大了。可见当时的邕江大学在百姓的地位有多低，因为之前它就是一个普通的专科，每次坐702公交车下蒲庙的之后，都会看到立在路边的邕江大学牌子，邕江大学当时非常小。中国对“大学”、学院的认知在我们国家，的确存在“以名识校”的问题，很多人选专业的时候，看到学院马上排除，因为很多人认为“大学”要比“学院”强，而且以“省”命名的大学，要比以“市”命名的大学厉害，但是很多学校的确这样。就像南宁师范学院改名成南宁师范大学，但是比不过桂林的广西师范大学，广西中医学院改名了广西中医大学，这样的目的是提高社会影响力，而且符合国民的认知观念，很多大学的办学质量没提高，但是录取分数线和学费却不断提高呀！南宁学院的历史邕江大学创办1985年，这是一所历史悠久的专科院校，非常有来头，在1990年时，它从邕宁县搬到南宁市北湖路石头岭，后面又从石头岭搬回龙岗原来的老地方，现在石头岭给振宁公司搞房地产了。邕江大学最初是民办，南宁考虑到没有一所属于自己的大学，在2009年，南宁威宁投资集团有限责任公司与民革广西区委合作共办邕江大学，在得到资金投入之后，教学质量和硬件不断提高，而且2011年，五象新区新校园建造完成，2012年12月升本成功！为什么邕江大学从大学掉到学院首先我们要知道，之所以高校叫大学，因为它必须符合条件，其中就必须是本科及以上的院校，而且学院要有足够多的专业，学科数量、教学科研能力、办学规模、硬件设施等条件，不然无法满足要求，只能叫学院，不能叫大学。之前因为审核没有那么严格，而且邕江大学成立比较早，但是新规出来之后，邕江大学不符合“大学”的要求，只能被迫降会“学院，当南宁学院的符合“大学”的要求，就可以申请，只要上面教育部批准通过，那么南宁学院就可以变成南宁大学，这个名字还没有人用，只要南宁学院努力，未来会是他们的。现在南宁学院有12学院，27个本科选择，有经济、管理、艺术、工学四大学院，全日制人数1.3-1.5左右。南宁学院的未来现在南宁学院可以说非常成功，用8年的时间，从专科升本科，而且知名度大大提高，很多人不知道“邕”字，所以对邕江大学也不熟悉，但是改名南宁学院之后，知名度提高了，因为广西首府是南宁，而且在首府战略下，很多资源给到南宁，很多人也到南宁定居买房，南宁现在有780万的人口，而且有绿城称号。南宁学院隔壁就是五象新区总部，这是“南宁小深圳”，到处都是高楼大厦，虽然还不是非常繁华，只要坚持首府战略，这里会成为南宁的繁华地段。南宁学院可以投入信息工程学院，未来是互联网的时代，而电子信息技术非常重要，以后五象新区的摩天大楼需要这样的人才，如果可以吸引优秀的老师，培养优秀的人才，那是非常厉害的一件事。现在南宁非常却这方面的人才，就算广西大学也没有能力培养几个出来，如果南宁学院加大投资，引入优秀老师，吸引很多优秀学生，未来的南宁电子信息类行业会发展起来。

Q：哈佛和斯坦福，被录取了一般选哪个？
A：谢谢邀请英超联赛即将开打，新赛季的英超冠军big6中利物浦最有希望。利物浦上个赛季提前七轮，以领先第二名18分的绝对优势夺冠，本赛季球队依然以上个赛季的主力阵容征战，三条线的综合实力傲视群雄，特别是后防有阿利松和范迪克坐镇，前场有英超最强的三叉戟萨拉赫，马内，菲尔米诺组合，还有红军超强的战斗力，我看好利物浦卫冕联赛冠军。曼城上个赛季错失联赛3连冠与阿奎罗因伤缺阵很多场次有关。从曼城目前的情况来看，球队的阵容豪华，瓜帅的战术打法先进强势，我觉得曼城是新赛季联赛冠军最有力的争夺者。曼联在上个赛季中后期表现不错，索帅对球队的阵容优化组合后效果不错，前锋线拉什伍德，马夏尔，青木发挥出色，中场博格巴，B费掌控比赛的能力很强，打进联赛四强，获得欧冠资格。如果在新赛季曼联的三条线配合得更好，有争夺联赛冠军的希望。切尔西上个赛季获得欧冠资格，本赛季阵容补强，引进哈弗茨，齐尔维尔，齐耶赫，纳塔等球员，但我不看好兰帕德的执教能力，兰帕德的打法凶狠，但战术没有创造性，他与克洛普，瓜帅，索帅抗衡还嫩得一点，切尔西新赛季能够拿到欧冠资格就不错了。阿森纳，热刺上个赛季表现一般，球队的综合实力差一点，新赛季基本上没有引进强援，争冠的希望不大，能够有一支球队拿到欧冠资格就不错了。综上所述，20-21赛季利物浦，曼城，曼联是联赛冠军最有力的竞争者，不出意外，冠军将在这三支球队中产生。
