　　犹他大学位于美国犹他州的盐湖城市，是一所综合性公立大学，由耶稣基督后期圣徒教会信徒建立。学校截止2012年约有30,000学生及4,000多名教职员工。大学共分11部门，获得好评的学科则有商科、传播学、美术、计算机科学、工程、采矿、以及化学等自然科学。犹他大学为美国太平洋十二大联盟会 Pacific-12 Conference（原Pac-10）成员。该联盟目前由由美西十二所著名大学组成，成员包括加州大学伯克利UCB，南加州大学USC，加州大学洛杉矶UCLA，斯坦福大学，亚利桑那大学UA，科罗拉多大学，华盛顿大学UW-Seattle，俄勒冈大学OU等。

　　犹他大学具有完整的学士、硕士及博士学位，拥有73个系和94个研究学科。在校学生人数约为26000人，分别来自全美50个州和全世界109个国家。

　　犹他大学近八成学生都获得校内兼职工作，因离盐湖城Downtown较近，且有轻轨系统直通校内，学生的校外兼职机会也颇多。学习成绩优异的学生有机会进入学校的荣誉学院Honor College，获得更多的学术研究机会。

　　本科宿舍学生有多种住房选择。我们有双人间，豪华房，单人房，单间豪华客房，主要为一年级学生居住。我们的公寓提供一流的设施。学生宿舍：有两间双人房与连接两个房间的浴室。也有少数的单间。每层楼是男女同用。配有休息室，学习室和微波炉，附近有酒店还有健身设施。每栋楼有一个一年的经验导师。我们的宿舍是面向大学的一年级学生。我们提供了多种类型的客房布局，以最大限度地满足学生的需要。教堂格伦网关高地贤者点公寓我们的两到四间卧室的公寓，包括私人和共用的卧室，共用浴室，一间厨房和客厅。

　　餐饮

　　拥有不同种类的Meal plan:包括Residential Meal Plan和Block Meal Plan，分别为住校生提供自助餐饮和集购物、娱乐为一体的餐饮服务。任何学生都能够购买Dining Dollars,无论你购买了多少都将获得10%的折扣。这些Dining Dollars 可以在校园12个餐饮地点使用。

　　校园拥有一些专业运动队，包括犹他爵士队（NBA），皇家盐湖城（MLS），盐湖蜂（小联盟棒球），犹他爵士灰熊队（冰球）。学生可以通过参与校园活动与其他同学建立友谊，并了解个人兴趣。所有学生都需要加入一个俱乐部或组织。春季学期结束时，学生可以申请社团领导职位，并为他人服务。

　　财政援助和奖学金办公室每年颁发大一学生的奖学金。这些奖学金评定基础为：学生学习成绩优异，具有多种能力，并提供经济需要的证明。在12月1日被录取的新生，将有资格申请优秀学生奖学金。
