Recommendation Letter:
Letters of Recommendation: Recommendation letters, written on the enclosed specified form, should be completed by two evaluators well acquainted with the applicant’s ability in his or her research field and with the applicant’s personality. Each complete form is to be sealed in an envelope and signed across the seal by the evaluator. The recommendation letters must be written within the 6 months of submission.
Research Plan:
Research Plan: In at least two pages of A4 size (210 x 297mm) papers, describe, in Japanese or in English, your past achievements and future study proposal for a specific field of study in the program

If you haven’t completed your course yet, you are requested to submit all the academic transcript you have received by the time of application.
One original or one certified copy (with certified seal/stamp of the university you belong to or graduated from) is required. Photocopy without certified seal/stamp will not be accepted.
If GPA is not stated in the transcript, and if your school can issue the authorized certificate of your GPA or your class rank, please submit it together with the transcript. If your school doesn’t provide you with GPA and if you calculate it yourself, please submit the document that shows how you calculated it.
Recommendation Letter:
IME Graduate Program requires two recommendation letters from the faculty members of the university you belong to or graduated from. Both must be the faculty member of the university and one of them must be your direct academic supervisor. It would be preferable if the other is from Dean or head of Department of the university you belong to or graduated from. |
