　　密歇根州立大学成立于1855年，位于密歇根州东兰辛市，是一所顶尖的研究性大学。密歇根州立大学被《美国新闻和世界报道》杂志评为全美公立大学第29名，并被《普林斯顿评论》杂志评为中西部最好的大学之一。在2006年，被《Kiplinger》杂志评为最有价值的公立大学前100强。密歇根州立大学不但是以教育/农业/传媒理论闻名，而且音乐治疗也是位于美国先锋地位。密歇根州立大学也拥有全美历史第二悠久的饭店管理学院。

　　爱荷华大学有两种住宿类型，第一种是普通宿舍类型，有双人、单人、三人、四人间。第二种是公寓型宿舍，2-4个学生住在一起，有独立的卫生间、厨房等。所有大一新生都需要住在校内。

　　与住宿类型相对应的，爱荷华大学也有两种meal plans。一种是给在校住宿舍学生准备的，有三个选择。住在公寓式宿舍或者学校外的可以选择第二种meal plan，包含的餐数比较少，适合自己做饭的学生。

　　密歇根州立大学的校区位于东兰辛市的红衫河旁，1855年校园在一片原始森林中建立。红杉河北边是校园中最古老的部分，这个区域是当初学校成立时的那三栋校舍的所在地。其建筑风格包括了新哥特式建筑，学院式建筑，古罗马式建筑等。北校区有丰富的树木与蜿蜒的道路。

　　五大湖是优越的天然运输水道。1959年开辟圣劳伦斯水道后，底特律和其他湖滨城市均成为海港，海船可以从大西洋经五大湖直接航行到底特律。1910年铁路最多时曾达14000多公里，目前还在运行的有1万公里。公路网密集，仅州际高速公路就有约2千公里。全州有主要机场12个。在交通的往返上，密歇根州立大学提供定时的校园巴士，来回穿梭校园各地供学生及教职人员等可以从容的安排时间及学习知识。

　　密歇根州最发达的工业都市底特律为美国各大汽车制造公司通用汽车公司、福特汽车公司、克莱斯勒汽车公司所在地。

　　安全

　　密歇根州立大学警察部门有69名密歇根州认证的警官，处理学校里的所有犯罪事件。警察部门是由不同种族、文化背景的杰出男女所组成的。所有警官都至少有大学文凭，其中14个有更高的文凭，所以他们都经历过挫败沮丧而又精彩的大学生活，并能真正理解学生们。不会用强硬的手段对付学生，而是友好的帮助学生。

A：对于这个问题，我来分享一下我的观点:我家孩子当年就属于学习成绩一般的，考了个二本，又是文科，实在不好填报志愿，好大学好专业都无从选择。后来根据自己的喜好和专业的相对冷热报了个师范院校非师范专业的广告学专业。可毕业出来并不好找工作，即便找到相关行业工资待遇也不高，对于一个男孩子来说，实在是很苦恼，后来又到社会上到处求学，改学室内设计，学了两三年，等于又读了一回大学。既耽误了孩子又投入了不少资金。根据我家孩子的经历，我建议如果你的孩子尤其是男孩子，学习成绩一般，在高考填报志愿时，就得考虑长远一些，为孩子将来就业计，既然没得选择好学校，就尽量让孩子选择一个较好的专业，理科的还好选，要是文科考生，尽量往理工科专业上靠，当初高中选了文科，上大学可以有机会重新做一次选择，这样的二次选择可以保证自己大学毕业能找到比较好的工作，避免走我家孩子那样的弯路。当然，孩子可塑性都是很强的，如果孩子走考研考博这条路，那未来找工作就更多了自主选择的自由与优势。

A：一般来说，江湖上的说法是“清北复交”。意思是这4所大学是国内最好的4所大学。不过，很多学校不服气，认为这4所学校占了区位的光，清北在北京，复交在上海，如果不考虑这城市的影响力，说不定排位会变。比如，浙大和上交大究竟谁更好？上交大上交大的前身是交通大学，交通大学是我国最早的大学之一，前身是南洋公学，1896年由盛宣怀创建。交通大学曾经被誉为“东方的MIT”，教材用的跟MIT的一样，是中国民国时期著名的留美基地之一。北京的留美基地则是清华。像钱学森就是交大的毕业生，考取了庚子赔款的留美资格，去的美国。上交大是从交大分出来的。交通大学在1956年响应国家号召西迁，大部分的交通大学迁往西安，成为今天的西安交通大学。以船舶专业为主的几个系则留在了上海，成为上海交通大学。浙大浙大的历史也很悠久，前身是1897年创建的求是学院，1928年就成为了国立大学，像钱学森的父亲钱均夫就毕业于求是学院。在民国时期，浙大也是非常出色，曾跟清华、北大等并称民国五大名校。不过，在院系调整之中，浙大惨遭分拆，像理学院就被分拆到了复旦大学，像复旦很著名的数学院士苏步青等人都是浙大的老师，其他的农学、医学也全部分拆出去。但到了1998年，在院校大合并过程中，浙大把原先老浙大分拆出去的，留在杭州的几所学校全部合并了，包括杭州大学、浙江医科大学和浙江农业大学。两校的发展和排名上交大在一开始被人讥讽为船校，因为以造船系为主，但这么多年的发展，上交大又合并了上海第二医科大学，又开设了各种系，现在已经是国内专业非常齐全的一所大学了，已经是国内最好的大学之一了。浙大合并之后，有很长一段时间里，不受人待见，因为浙江医科大学原先不怎么样，农业大学更是没人愿意去学。很多学生不愿意报考，担心调剂到农学院。但发展到现在，浙大医学院已经进入国内一流医学院的水平，李兰娟院士全国闻名。浙大总体实力也是上升非常快，很多浙大人认为凭实力，浙大应该是TOP3。那具体如何，我们可以来看看。第四轮学科评估很多大学排名不太准确，我认为最准的还是官方的学科评估。在第四轮学科评估中，浙大有11个A+，不算国科大，在所有高校中排第三，上交大只有5个A+，不算非常出色。双一流学科慢慢地，随着大学生的增多，大家开始看重专业，专业的重要性增加。我们可以看看这两所学校入选一流学科的数量和专业。可以看到，浙大入选了18项，上交大入选了17项。浙大稍多了一项。除了数量，更重要的是看热门专业的情况。从热门专业来看，浙大入选了电气、控制、计算机、软件。上交大则入选了信息与通信、电子电气、控制、计算机、土木、临床医学、口腔医学。从热门专业来看，上交大入选的则更多。浙大：化学、生物学、生态学、机械工程、光学工程、材料科学与工程、电气工程、控制科学与工程、计算机科学与技术、农业工程、环境科学与工程、软件工程、园艺学、植物保护、基础医学、药学、管理科学与工程、农林经济管理上交大：数学、化学、生物学、机械工程、材料科学与工程、信息与通信工程、控制科学与工程、计算机科学与技术、土木工程、化学工程与技术、船舶与海洋工程、基础医学、临床医学、口腔医学、药学、电子电气工程、商业与管理总结浙大是一所很不错的学校，不过我并不认为浙大能超过上交大。原因有以下几点。第一，其实没有任何学校能脱离区位来考虑。浙大现在发展很不错，也得到了全国人民的认可，我认为跟杭州的发展也很有关系。杭州发展得好，带动了浙大。就像斯坦福大学、加州理工等，为什么能跟哈佛、耶鲁等传统名校平齐，跟在加州的发展很有关系。因此，只要杭州的发展超不过上海，浙大超过上交大的可能性也就不大。第二，从学生来说，上交大要好于浙大。浙大每年的招生人数远多于上交大，而且在全国范围内来说，上交大的录取线要高于浙大。这意味着上交大的学生入学素质要好于浙大的学生，大概率上，毕业的时候，上交大学生的素质要高于浙大的毕业生。第三，从就业来说，大家关注的都是热门专业的情况。从双一流的情况来看，上交大的热门专业入选的数量要多于浙大，所以，对考生吸引力更大，就业也好就业。第四，从全国口碑来说，上交大还是要好于浙大。因此，从总体来说，我认为是上交大好于浙大。不过，在某些学科，浙大的实力是要强于上交大，这个什么时候有用呢？大概就是某些毕业生准备要去当博士后或者去其他高校申请教职，那么业内人士会仔细评判两个学校的科研水平。其他时候根本不予考虑，入学成绩说明一切，口碑说明一切。
